1941 born in Salisbury S.Rhodesia (Harare, Zimbabwe\)
Life on a farm boarding schools in Salisbury and Cape Town
1960-1962 Student at UCT BA Art (In English and Fine Art
1963 marriage and move to Cambridge Work with various Cambridge artists
1964/5 Advanced Diploma at Cambridge Institute of Education
1965/66 work in Texas at an institute for emotionally disturbed children.
1966/67 work as assistant in Zoe Ellison’s pottery Cottenham
1967/69 500 year old cottage renovated Birth of Margaret and Andrew,exhibitions.
1967/71 work as Painting teacher at Comberton and Impington Village Colleges
1972 move to Hamburg then to Munich.Work as librarian. Learning German.
1973/75 work in a German state school as English and Art teacher
1975/1982 English teacher at the Rudolf Steiner School Munich
1975/76 Steiner Teaching Qualification
1979 and 1981 birth of Benjamin and. Emily..Renovation of Munich house.
1984 return to the Steiner school as part of a team to start Munich’s 3rd Steiner school.
1984-1998 work as English and Art teacher at the Groebenzell Steiner School
1998/99 work as head of Art department Rudolf Steiner school Kings Langley (Herts)
2000/2001 class teacher Cambridge Steiner school. Renovation of Cottenham house.
2001 /2005 retirement from teaching.Work as artist .
During all the years as teacher,exhibitions and work with groups of all ages in painting, sculpture and graphic techniques.
